Wednesday's Wind Sprint-Bonzi, Raja and more...

Another one hour show, some things we may or may not get to this afternoon:

Raja Bell vs. Kobe Bryant: Raja is a knucklehead-same guy who two years ago threatened to "beat up" Derek Anderson-when he actually had a beef with Ruben Patterson. My thoughts are simple:
*The NBA has suspended Artest and Posey for similar offenses against an opponent, which would say if they are being CONSISTENT he should be suspended. But the NBA isn’t consistent, because if it were, then Reggie Evans would have been suspended.
*You can’t worry about the fact it is potential close out game, it doesn’t matter.

Earl Woods-I always thought he was the ultimate "little league" syndrome parent, and maybe in a way he is, but there is no doubt that he had a relationship with his father that all of us could be envious of in terms of how close they were, and what they meant to each other.
I was also impressed by the fact he did two tours of duty in the Vietnam War, whether you agree with the war or not, he served this country in a way most of us can’t relate to, and in the process sacraficed his own potential professional career.

Jersey Sales: What does one guy mean to a franchise? In the case of Reggie Bush, a lot: There have been 15,000 orders for Bush’s Saints jersey, and we don’t even know if he can wear the number 5 yet. (Vince Young is close behind at 14,500 Titans jerseys).

Bonzi, Bonzi, Bonzi: Ok, he had another great game, statistically. But he missed a key free throw in the final seconds which would have made it a two point game, and the Kings were outscored by –9 when Wells was on the floor in the second half. In other words, he still can’t play defense. Death, Taxes, and Bonzi melting down-it will happen, count on it. Maybe not today, tomorrow, or even this playoff-but he will wear out his welcome in Sacramento. Memphis anyone? Remember when he made his debut in December of 2003 and they loved him? How did it end?
