I have just learned that Tyrus Thomas WILL NOT be coming to Portland for a workout with the Blazers tomorrow. More details to come, but the indication is that he was promised something by Toronto, Chicago or Charlotte, and thus decided he didn't need to come here for a workout.

That is HUGE. And one less reason to trade up.
no way it's the bulls or is it. i think if he's willing to play the pf postion on a nightly basics then it could be him,but if he tries to demand anything in the future about playing the sf postion things can be really bad with TT on the bulls with deng and noc he already. Still i think he give's the bulls what they need and maybe could be a lebron stopper or slower. and maybe they look next year for the big man they need with them being able to swap picks with the knick's. still getting a promise from the bulls is something i wary of. i think it's more of an injury,he's trying to hide something.
I think its a crock of shit. It is probably Ty's agent suggesting that he cancel his Portland workout to give the impression to teams that he will be selected in the top 3, thus meaning that any team outside of the top 3 that is really interested in him would be forced to trade up to get him. But then again, thats just my opinion!
Be wary of promises. All depends who picks #1, Raptors or ... if Aldridge is there at #2 that promise is out the window.
