Monday, Monday.....

How bad will it get? That is the question for the Blazers. One media friend in Seattle said after watching the debacle last night that he "hadn't seen a NBA team in this much trouble since Isiah ran the Raptors." My only thought is-what about the Knicks with Isiah in charge? I guess it could get worse!

As you get ready for the NCAA title game tonight, here is something to look forward to:

Stop the Madness!
From the Sports Business Daily.....In a front-page piece in the N.Y. TIMES, Corey Kilgannon wrote ESPN “has declared dominoes the next big spectator sport and is promoting it as both a colorful cultural touchstone and a highly competitive game.” ESPN Deportes shows hour-long domino shows on Tuesdays at 10:00pm ET, with a similar show planned for ESPN2 starting in June. ESPN Deportes GM Lino Garcia: “We think it will be the next cool thing” (N.Y. TIMES, 4/2). Also in N.Y., Julie Bick reported ESPN has signed a deal to produce a televised celebrity chess tournament this spring featuring Woody Harrelson, Wesley Snipes and others.

Congrats to P-1 listener Bill who is number on in our Cingular Fan Frenzy at and also is #2 in the national competition too! He has UCLA tonight so go Bruins and hopefully the local guy does good against the rest of the country!

Thank you and goodbye,

So much for the Bruins. They looked brutal. This was one of the worst Final Fours I can remember. All 3 games were blowouts.
